The 2018 Asian Games
From August 18th to September 2nd ,2018, the 18th Asian Games will be held in Jakarta, Indonesia.
The competition is a little different from the Olympic Games, 462 events in 40 competitions including Sepak Takraw and Kabaddi etc.
Athletes from 45 countries and regions will be take part in the competition.
The Asian Games was first held in 1951 in New Delhi, India, and in principle, it is held once every four years.
It is exactly the largest sports festival in Asia.
The 2018 Asian Games Torch Relay began on July 15th from New Delhi, India.
The flame will pass through 54 cities in 18 provinces across Indonesia before reaching the Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) Main Stadium in Jakarta for the Asian Games opening ceremony on August 18.
