Chinese Taipei lady lifter Hsingchun Kuo won gold medal within the 2018 Asian Games, women’s weighlifting -58 kg class on the JI Expo, Kemayoran, Jakarta, on Thursday.

The lifter managed to boost an total 235 kilograms – 105 kg in snatch class and 130 kg in blank and jerk category.

The silver medal was won through Thai lifter Sukanya Srisurat with a whole lift of 226 kg – 103 kg from snatch class and 123 kg from blank and jerk.

Meanwhile, the bronze medalist was Mikiko Andoh, a lifter from Japan with a whole lift of 218 kg, 91 kg from snatch and 127 kg from blank and jerk.

The Indonesian contingent represented through Lifter Acchedya Jagaddhita in simple terms ranked fifth with a whole lift of 208 kg, 83 kg from snatch and 115 kg from blank and jerk.

Hsingchun in her third try of blank and jerk tried to destroy the Asian Games listing of 140 kg held through Chinese lifter Chen Yanoing and simultaneously the global listing of her own of 142 kg through attempting to boost a 143-kilogram barbell.
